The Mexican actor, director and producer Mexican Julián
Pastor, credited with six Ariel nominations, died last night at the age of 71. Pastor
(October 18, 1943-August 24, 2015), who also excelled as a writer, editor, set
designer and writer for theater, film and television, directed more than 30
films in his career and appeared in more than seventy national films. He played
Padre Salvatierra in the 1971 western documentary "Kino" and as a soldier in the
1991 Euro-western "Bandits".
