RIP Lukács Bicskey
Hungarian actor
Lukács Bicskey died of cancer on April 8, 2015 in Budapest. He was 53. Born Karoly Bicskey in Szeged, Hungary on May 11, 1961, he took his great-grandfather's name Lukács who was a well known stage actor an d founding member of the Bicskey Veszprém
Petőfi Theatre. Bicskey was primarily a stage actor but appeared in several Hungarian films and TV series. He worked with
such celebrities as Ornella Muti, Tom Berenger, Donald Sutherland, Christopher
Lambert and Whoopi Goldberg. Married to dancer, actress Kincsõ Pethõ, he was the father of three children. Lukács was currently working on his first Euro-western No Hero Here, a 2014 Hungarian production playing the role of Melon.
