Christopher Connelly was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 8, 1941. He signed a film contract with 20th Century Fox in 1961. Baring a close resemblance to actor Ryan O’Neal he was cast as his younger brother Norman Harrington on TV’s "Peyton Place" [1964-1969]. In 1974 he starred in the TV series "Paper Moon" with Jodie Foster who played his daughter. Mainly seen on television he did make a few films such as "Benji" (1974). In the 1980s he turned to making Italian films such as Ruggero Deodato’s "The Raiders of Atlantis" (1983) and Bruno Mattei’s "Strike Commando" (1987) and with Lee Van Cleef in "Jungle Raiders" (1985). His only Euro-western was with Franco Nero in "Django Strikes Again" (1987) where he plays the villain "El Diablo". Connelly died from lung cancer on December 7, 1988 in Burbank, California. Today we remember Christopher Connelly on what would have been his 70th birthday.
