Happy 70th Birthday Graziella Granata
Graziella Granata was born on March 16, 1941 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. Graziella attended the Experimental Center of Cinematography and graduated with a degree in drama in 1960. She signed a contract with Rizzoli Films and appeared in a number of films starting with“The Pirate and the Slave Girl” in 1959 and continued to act in films until her last appearance in “Don Camillo e i giovani d’oggi”in 1972. Even though her career started with a bright beginning she never obtained more then small supporting roles. In 1967 she received a David di Donatello Award but still failed to garner stardom. With this failure she abandoned the film industry and turned to stage and TV but eventually abandoned acting all together. During her career she made one Euro-western “Beyond the Law” (1968) as Sally Davis along with Lee Van Cleef and Antonio Sabato. Wherever she is today we celebrate Graziella Granata’s 70th birthday.
