Continuing with location sites for “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. Blondie is given his release from Betterville by being a guide to Angel Eyes and his henchmen to Sad Hill Cemetery. Tuco in the meantime is taken to a train station by Corporal Wallace and put aboard a train. Most likely Tuco will be taken out and dumped somewhere alive or dead is unknown. The train station used in the scene is at La Calahorra and is on a still active main railway. Typical of Leone and his use of locations but from different angles, if you look across the tracks you will see the remains of the Flagstone set used in “Once Upon a Time in the West”. Across from the La Calahorra station is where the location is for the station used when Jill arrives in Arizona and waits for Brett McBain to pick her up and take her to Sweetwater.
