Cesare Fantoni was an Italian character actor who was born on February 1, 1902 and would appear in over 70 films during his career from 1939's “Lospite di una notte” to his final film in 1962's Giulio Cesare, il conquistatore delle Gallie”. He was married to actress Afra Arrigoni and the father of actor Sergio Fantoni [1930- ]. He appeared in one of the earliest Italian westerns “Girl of the Golden West” in 1942. Fantoni died on January 15, 1963. Today we remember Cesare Fantoni on what would have been his 105th birthday.
