Who Are Those Guys? ~ Francisco Camoiras




Francisco Pérez Camoiras was born in Madrid, Spain on June 13, 1929. He made debut as an actor with the film “Raza”, in 1942 when he was only 13. He also worked in a 1947 musical as a clown with his brother, the late Quique Camoiras [1928-2012].

Among the plays in which he acted include “El caso de la mujer asesinadita” by the Miguel Mihura, “Los Caciques” by Carlos Arniches, “Los habitantes de la casa deshabitada” by
Enrique Jardiel Poncela, “El viaje infinito de Sancho Panza” The infinite journey of Sancho Paza” by Alfonso Sastre, “Los intereses creados” (1992) by Jacinto Benavente.

Known as Paco Camoiras to his fans and friends he also appeared in five Euro-westerns.

RIP Federico Ribes



Spanish producer, cinematographer, cameraman Federico Ribes died in his home town of Alicante on June 25th. He was 65. Born Federico Ribes Ponsoda in Alicante in 1952 and worked on over 100 films from 1981 – 2017. Ribes was cinematographer on the 1999 TV Euro-western “Outlaw Justice” starring Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and directed by Gene Quintano.
