A gold-digger looking for gold in Alaska manages to get rich. He then moves to San Francisco where he wants his money to grow so he ends up fighting in financial circles which turns out to be much harsher than his struggles in Alaska.

A 7 part Czechoslovakian television series which closely follows Jack London’s novel Burning Daylight about the harsh life during the Klondike Gold Rush.
