Martin Rojas, along with other Mexican farmers, are forced by violence to flee their land ceded by Mexico to the United States, a band of compatriots obtains weapon and they begin to perform robberies throughout the region. After scoring their biggest coup with the help of the gringo Trevor, Martin is captured and sentenced to twenty years of forced labor. After ten years, Red Tracy, the sheriff, who made the arrest and took with him the baby of Juan Rojas, goes to Martin asking him to give up his rights because Juan intends to adopt the boy. But Rojas rebels, manages to escape with the help of Yuma, and secretly goes to the town of Quemados but is unable to see his son, now a young boy. Meanwhile, Trevor, decides to capture Rojas as the spoils fell to him, and takes hold of Juan and threatens to torture him so that Martin will be forced to surrender and hand over the hidden stolen money. During the journey to the hideout, Rojas cleverly exploits the greed of one of the assassins of Trevor and manages to escape along with the boy. After the painful vicissitudes, Juan is sent home (which they have not yet dared to reveal their identity), Martin has only one thought: revenge on Trevor and his men. But in the battle that follows, after the band is broken up with Trevor, Rojas is killed.
