Remembering Renzo Marignano



Renzo Marignano was born in Genoa, Liguria, Italy on March 26, 1923. Active as a character in Italian films since the early 1960s he appeared in over 55 various B-movie comedies and Italian erotic comedies, but also in some quality films, such as his debut in “Divorce Italian Style” (1961). Renzo appeared in only one Euro-western as a priest in “They Call Me Providence?” (1972). Marignano was also an assistant director, on several Italian comedies. He died in Genoa on November 25, 1987. Today we remember Renzo Marignano on what would have been his 90th birthday.
