Who Are Those Guys - Ennio Antonelli

Born Ennio Antonelli on February 23, 1927 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. Ennio was a former boxer who became a character actor in Italian B films and TV, usually playing supporting roles as thugs, henchmen and townsmen. He started his film career making Sword and Sandal films which was followed by roles in westerns and crime films. His career was interrupted when he suffered a stroke in 1989. He was such a great favorite of the blue collar workers in Italy that a documentary homage to him was filmed in 2001 by director Marco Giusti entitled “Ennio Antonelli? Campa”. Ennio died in Rome on August 6, 2004.
